After a ship visit, we analyse the situation and design a training course focused on realistic scenarios, based on your own equipment and crew.
Practical onboard training by expert firefighters
Onboard training is delivered by two experienced instructors using digital fire simulators. With these, we recreate incidents in a realistic way, so your crew not only exercises, but also learns to think and act under pressure. This ensures instant recognition of risks and self-confidence in emergency situations.

Understanding ship fire: training using the fire triangle as a basis
Each training course starts with a short theory refresher, including a discussion of the fire triangle. Understanding fire development and fire behaviour is essential to act effectively. We immediately apply this knowledge in practice; in realistic scenarios, we train how a ship fire develops and how you can fight it with the resources on board.
Tailor-made for container ship, cruise ship or cargo ship
A container ship fire has different requirements than a fire on a passenger ship. That is why we tailor each training course to the specific risks of your ship type. Our instructors combine their experience in container fire, engine room hazards or passenger evacuation, ensuring your team is prepared for the realities of their environment.

Training on board or ashore
Our training courses are designed to fit your crew, your resources and your schedule. For example, we offer basic training as Plan A: E-learning where crew can train independently via an online environment. For the instructor, we offer Plan B: Trainer Tool which provides onboard training for the instructor and crew. Plan C: Customised On Board is a tailor-made fire safety training on board the vessel or at another desired location.
Request a demoAs the foundation for effective fire safety training, we recommend starting with Plan D: Inspection & Consultancy; an inspection with risk assessment and training advice. In this phase, a specialist from React Academy visits the ship to thoroughly assess the situation on board. This includes analysing the risks present, going through safety procedures and assessing the crew's knowledge and skill level. The results are incorporated into a clear advisory report with targeted recommendations for training and possible improvements in the fire safety approach. This step provides a solid basis for an effective follow-up process within each of our training programmes.
